WonderCube W3-24H is a professional system for multichannel digital
video recording and monitoring.
Applications
W3-24H answers to the growing need for a custom system for
continuous 24h monitoring and recording of multiple video sources.
The WonderCube solution allows a wide range of applications: from
24h recording of television broadcasts, to video surveillance and
remote video control, including video archiving for consultation at a
later time.
Monitoring and video recording
W3-24H allows you to control the video sources connected to the system, both from the local workstation, and from remote stations connected via intranet or internet. The entire system can be monitored from a single control room. WonderCube W3-24H reset the distance to zero: connecting more remote sites over the network, even at great distance between them, you can handle the remote stations like they were local workstations. Thanks to the map feature you can put one or more cameras on a digital map, view their status in real time, and select a video feed with just a simple mouse click.
High quality video recording
The high efficient Mpeg4 video compression algorithm adopted by W3-24H ensures high quality images, allows recorded video to be stored in less space, and guarantees an optimal data flow transmission through the network. WonderCube W3-24H enables high quality simultaneous recording of up to 16 channels, with a 25 fps PAL (704x576) and NTSC (640x480) resolution for each channel. You can also choose whether to remotely record the video from a connected W3-24H workstation, or just monitor it on a local workstation.
Archiving and browsing
The video recorded with W3-24H is automatically archived in the system’s dedicated database. Video files can be browsed by recording workstation ID, camera or source, date and time. W3-24H allows you to browse video on a remote recording workstation, download it, mark and cut a segment out, transcode to a different video format. W3-24H can be integrated with WonderCube Storage System and the Blu-ray digital library, to allow unlimited video storage. Each Blu-ray library can store up to 30TB.
